Henry is principal of Mauer Kunst Consulting, a private consulting group that specializes in strategic planning, project management, program development/assessment, and research activities targeted to business, foundation and nonprofit institutions. His current and recent clients include the Carnegie Corporation of New York; the Ford Foundation; Open Society Institute; Levi Strauss & Co. and the Levi Strauss Foundation; the Council on Foundations; the California Wellness Foundation; the California Endowment; The David & Lucile Packard Foundation; the W.K. Kellogg Foundation; Nike Inc; Union Bank of California; and Hispanics in Philanthropy.
Henry is a graduate of University of California at Berkeley and Harvard University where he earned degrees in political economics, law, and public administration. He is founding editor of the Harvard Journal of Hispanic Policy, a former Robert Bosch Foundation fellow in Germany, and a past member of the professional staffs of the New York-based Ford Foundation and the California-based James Irvine Foundation. Currently he sits on the boards of directors of Partners for Democratic Change and the Los Angeles Immigrant Funders Collaborative.
