UCLA Fund

BACKGROUND

The University of California, Los Angeles is one of the nation’s leading public research universities. UCLA needed a fundraising mechanism to bolster significant philanthropic investment to maintain UCLA’s academic and research mission. The UCLA Fund acts as an umbrella for vital unrestricted funds received from alumni, parents, friends and students each year to support UCLA’s greatest needs and highest potential.

STRATEGY

After carefully auditing the fundraising mechanisms of UCLA’s various schools, departments and facilities, Hershey Cause developed a cohesive identity and collateral system to help launch a unified UCLA Fund. The resulting integrated UCLA Fund materials clarified the importance of annual, unrestricted giving to the university as a whole while remaining flexible to address the needs of UCLA’s numerous individual academic and administrative units.
