The California Wellness Foundation (TCWF) is a private independent foundation created in 1992 with a mission to improve the health of the people of California by making grants for health promotion, wellness education and disease prevention. Hershey Cause has designed and produced the annual report for The California Wellness Foundation since 1999.
TCWF’s 2010 Annual Report addresses critical shortages in California’s health care workforce and highlights strategies to develop the culturally and linguistically competent workforce the state needs in the 21st century. The copy provides facts, figures, case studies and other examples of the real challenges our healthcare system is experiencing. And conceptually the strong medical warning label visuals bring the message to life.
A strong two-page infographic describes the shortages using data and provides much needed facts and figures as reference for field leaders. The annuals are available on request in traditional high quality hard copy print versions as well as web friendly online versions and are distributed to influencers state wide. The annual report also provides an update on TCWF’s activities for the year, financial statements, overview of the Foundation’s Responsive Grantmaking Program and a list of the year’s grants.
Previous Hershey Cause annual reports have been recognized by all major annual awards shows, including the PRSA Prism Award, Wilmer Shields Rich Award and the MarCom Platinum Award.
