City of Hope National Medical Center is renowned as one of the world’s leading biomedical research, treatment and education institutions, caring for millions of people battling life-threatening illness. City of Hope is one of only 39 Comprehensive Cancer Centers designated by the National Cancer Institute and recently was named one of America’s Best Hospitals in cancer and urology by U.S. News and World Report.

City of Hope asked Hershey|Cause to create capital campaign materials to revitalize a $300 million effort that included constructing the Helford Clinical Research Hospital – a state-of-the-art facility designed specifically to serve immune-compromised patients and foster close collaboration between physicians and clinical investigators.

We integrated the campaign theme “Hope Rises” into a flexible system of materials tailored to mirror specific interests of individual donors. The system – designed to grow and evolve with the campaign’s needs – had a strong visual identity that reflected City of Hope’s cutting-edge and patient-centered approach to research and clinical care.

Now completed, the Helford Clinical Research Hospital is one of the most advanced facilities in the nation, allowing City of Hope to more rapidly implement, advance and perfect the clinical research that will help patients around the world.
