Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation

Established by one of the founding mothers of the breast cancer advocacy movement, the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation is dedicated to eradicating breast cancer within our lifetime through innovative research, education and advocacy.

Hershey|Cause helped reposition the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation from a small, little-known Santa Barbara nonprofit into an internationally recognized foundation. Our work included strategic recommendations regarding the composition of the board of directors, creating and implementing a strategic communications plan, creating the organizational identity, fostering corporate partnerships and launching peer-based communications.

Our collaboration helped dramatically increase the foundation’s funding base and saw the formation of partnerships with Melissa Etheridge, iTunes, Hard Rock Café and the Emmy-nominated television show The L Word. Today the foundation continues to benefit from the dynamic cause-marketing capabilities Hershey|Cause helped establish, including the foundation’s longstanding partnership with Ford Motor Co.
