UCLA Fund

The University of California, Los Angeles is one of the nation’s leading public research universities and the seventh largest employer in Southern California. Maintaining UCLA’s academic and research mission requires significant philanthropic investment. The UCLA Fund acts as an umbrella for the vital unrestricted funds received from alumni, parents, friends and students each year to support UCLA’s greatest needs and highest potential.

After carefully auditing the fundraising mechanisms of UCLA’s various schools, departments and facilities, Hershey|Cause developed a cohesive identity and collateral system to help launch a unified UCLA Fund. The resulting integrated UCLA Fund materials clarified the importance of annual, unrestricted giving to the university as a whole while remaining flexible to address the needs of UCLA’s numerous individual academic and administrative units.

The inaugural year of the unified UCLA Fund succeeded in securing the largest number of annual gifts in UCLA’s history.
